ARRC Auto Repair Reference Center
An online center for car repair and information, AARC covers vehicles from 1945 through present. An interactive graphic interface that shows all parts of an automobile, inside and out. Includes tips and suggestions for care and troubleshooting, as well as recall notices by make, model and year.

ArticleFirst
Provides citations & abstracts for over 16,000 publications from 1990 to the present; use interlibrary loan to request full text copies. Although it is our most extensive periodicals database, consider a full-text database such as MasterFILE Premier.

Consumer Reports
Renowned for product reviews from the Consumers Union, an expert, independent nonprofit organization. From this link you can obtain full text of articles published since 1991 for free. Please note the publisher restricts articles from the most recent three months, which must be obtained for a charge from their web site. Keep in mind that the library will have the most current issue and back issues in print. For a comprehensive search of product reviews, try MasterFILE Premier, Newsbank and Newspaper Source.
eBooks
Sedona Public Library provides free access to over 4,000 eBooks (full-text electronic books)
ECO-Electronic Collections Online
Available through First Search, this database indexes over 5,400 scholarly journals from a wide range of subjects, with abstracts available for most. Provides thorough information on publications indexed, including publisher and contents/scope notes. Does not contain full text from publications.

ERIC
ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center, contains more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals.

MasterFILE Premier
Designed specifically for public libraries, this multidisciplinary database provides full text for more than 1,730 general reference publications with full text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, it also includes full text reference books, biographies, primary source documents, and an Image Collection of photos, maps and flags. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.
Newsbank
Provides full-text articles from the Arizona Republic, Arizona Daily Star (Tucson), and Tucson Citizen, along with 12 major national newspapers, including the New York Times and Washington Post. Columns by syndicated columnists such as David Brooks are included, but paid advertisements and classified ads are not. In addition to newspapers, has some special topics of current interest and suggestions on how to search for certain “hot topics.”
Newspaper Source
Newspaper Source provides selected full text for over 25 national and international newspapers. The database also contains full text television & radio news transcripts from CBS, FOX News, NPR, etc., and selected full text for more than 260 regional newspapers, including the Arizona Republic, Arizona Daily Star (Tucson), and Arizona Daily Sun (Flagstaff). This database is updated regularly by EBSCOhost, but Newsbank is more current.

This resource will help you find novel series and browse best fiction lists at the levels of pre-school, middle school, high school and adult. You can also do a search to find a book with certain plot lines or character descriptions.
Reference USA
Find businesses in US and Canada, as well as physicians and dentists. Also contains residential addresses and telephone numbers for individuals in the US and Canada. Search by name, yellow page heading, location and more.

Rosetta Stone
This product provides an interactive online learning platform of language immersion. You'll get immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and an individualized analysis of your results and progress. Languages offered: English (US or UK), French, German, Italian, Russian & Spanish (Latin America or Spain). The subscription through the AZ State Library expires 10/31/08. You will need to download Shockwave in order to use the product. Instructional handouts are available at Sedona Public Library.
