Computer and Technology Access
Free Internet Computers and Wi-FiAdult Computers
Patrons may sign up on a first-come, first-served basis for two one-hour sessions per day with a library card or guest pass. Computers in the public adult internet area are restricted for patrons 13 years of age or older. Teen Computers Use is restricted to individuals 12 through 17 years old. Teen computer sessions are 45 minutes. Children’s Computers Use of the internet accessible computers located in the children’s room is restricted to individuals 13 years of age or under and parents/caregivers of children currently in the children’s room. Child computer sessions are 30 minutes. Patrons may have two sessions per day with their library card or guest pass. Early Learning Stations are available for ages 3 through 8 with parental supervision. Wi-Fi SPL offers free high-speed wireless access to the internet throughout our facility with tables in the rear area of the building with outlets for charging your devices. We use WPA2 security with a pre-shared key (posted throughout the Library) and block inter-SSID traffic so your device is non-discoverable to other devices. Content filtering is enabled as prescribed by our internet use policy. |
Printing, Scanning, FaxingThe Library offers affordable printing, scanning, faxing, and copying, all at a self-serve touchscreen station near the reference desk. You can scan to email or a USB drive for $.10/page, print in black & white for $.10/page, and color print for $.25 per page. Faxing is $1.00/page.

Tech TutoringDo you feel intimidated by all of the technology that has become a part of your daily life? Call or stop by the reference desk to set up a Tech Tutoring session with one of our librarians. We specialize in tablets, smartphones, and basic computer usage such as email and Microsoft Office. One hour appointments are available on Tuesdays at SPL in the Village, and Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Main Library in West Sedona.
