SPL offers free high-speed wireless access to the internet throughout our facility with tables in the rear area of the building with outlets for charging your devices. We use WPA2 security with a pre-shared key (posted throughout the Library) and block inter-SSID traffic so your device is non-discoverable to other devices. Content filtering is enabled as prescribed by our internet use policy.
Printing, Scanning, Faxing
The Library offers affordable printing, scanning, faxing, and copying, all at a self-serve touchscreen station near the reference desk. You can scan to email or a USB drive for $.10/page, print in black & white for $.10/page, and color print for $.25 per page. Faxing is $1.00/page.
Do you feel intimidated by all of the technology that has become a part of your daily life? Call or stop by the reference desk to set up a Tech Tutoring session with one of our librarians. We specialize in tablets, smartphones, and basic computer usage such as email and Microsoft Office. One hour appointments are available on Tuesdays at SPL in the Village, and Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Main Library in West Sedona.
