  • This allows you access to the databases on our website and lets you place holds on Yavapai Library Network items.
  • You may pick up your library card at the Front Desk (aka Circulation Desk). Library cards must be picked up within one month of the application in order to become permanent cards.
  • Photo identification and proof of residency are required for card pickup.

Borrowing Guidelines

  • A maximum of 50 items per card is allowed. These items may include:
    • 10 each of the following: DVDs, CD audiobooks, and music CDs.
    • 5 Playaways
  • Check out is for three weeks, except for DVDs, which may be checked out for two weeks only.
  • Items may be renewed, unless they are on hold for another patron or until renewal limit is exceeded.
  • New items (with yellow tape on spine) can be renewed one time unless on hold for another patron. Other items may be renewed up to three times.
  • All Yavapai Library Network materials will be automatically renewed on their due date, with some exceptions. An item will not be renewed if:
    •  Another patron has requested it.
    • The item has reached its maximum number of renewals (up to three times for most items).
    • Your account is blocked due to billed items of $10 or more.
    •  The item is a digital item, such as an ebook or downloadable audiobook.
  • You will receive reminders for overdue items. Items borrowed from other YLN libraries are included in this service.
  • Automatic Renewal Notification: You will receive an email with this subject line on the due date. You must open the email to find out if the item has been renewed or has not been renewed (because it is not eligible for renewal). If items renew automatically, you can still return them any time before they are due.
  • Patrons with long overdue items will have a replacement cost assessed against their patron account.
  • The Library is not responsible for money put in the drop-box.
  • Items from other libraries may incur daily fines.
  • Any patron who owes a fine of $10 or more may not check out library materials until the fine is reduced to below $10.
